Coffitivity: One of My Favourite Online Productivity Tools

One of my favourite online productivity tools, Coffitivity

I usually can't work in silence. Jill, on the other hand, requires damn near deafening silence if she needs to write a post or do anything that requires her to be creative.

So yeah, we're pretty much polar opposites when it comes to working conditions.

While there is always the option to split up and find our own ideal workspace, we typically prefer to work together.

That's why I was so damn elated when I stumbled upon Coffitivity, a genius website that has quickly become one of my go-to online productivity tools.

What is it?

Well, Coffitivity is a site that combines the commotion of a coffee house with a nice soothing ambiance that allows me to crank up the creativity and crush my to-do list without experiencing that frustrating feeling of having nothing to write about.

I can't really explain why the ambiant coffeehouse noise helps but the team at Coffitivity states that research shows the calming commotion of a coffee shop is where a lot of people feel their most creative.

I mean think about it: when was the last time you were in a Starbucks and you didn't see at least 6 people on their laptops working away?

Exactly.

It just works. So check it out.

Now I know there are plenty other online productivity tools out there – in fact, we'll be covering more in the coming weeks – but I want to know which online productivity tools you dig the most. Share 'em in the comment section below.

*thanks to ThugKitchen (one of Jill's favourite sites) for the sick inspiration and non-stop laughs*

Looks intersting! Not sure if it works with everybody though. Anyways, it is intersting to see how digital tools are trying to make us more productive. The best example for me is Beesy, that is trying (pretty much successfully) to use digital devices (iPads, or Web) to go beyond traditional productivity methods (mostly with its dynamic note-taking feature). You should have a look!

    • I wrote this post aaaaggges ago – but now I use FocusAtWill.com and absolutely love it 🙂
