A Little Bit About this Episode:

If you had told me 18 months ago that I would be hooked on split testing and conversion tricks, I would have assumed you were drunk. Possibly even high. Because back then, I was convinced that our sites could continue to grow on their own, without any tweaking or optimizing.

*hangs head in shame*

Fast forward that year and a half and I look back at Amateur Jill and want to pimp slap her, because she was missing such a HUGE opportunity!

These days Josh and I are inappropriately obsessed with testing out new strategies, seeing what converts best, and finding ways for our websites to make more money without having to write new posts, drive new links, or promote new products.

After all, why work harder and beat your head against the wall, when you could just work smarter?

And I'm telling you: These conversion tricks will allow you to work smarter, and not harder.

Because isn't the goal of this whole working-for-yourself thang to inject more freedom into your life?

Blatantly obvious answer: Yes.

So go on, click play, and learn our simple conversion strategies that you can implement right away to make your website convert into cash.[/text_output][/vc_column][/vc_row]

    • Put it into action and let us know what happens!!

  • Chris Dunavent

I agree with Nick…I’m kinda diggin’ the “Order Now” idea for nav menu.

    • Wicked! I’d be interested to hear what happens if you test it out 🙂

    • Josh Stanton

Yeah for sure – there’s always going to be a percentage of your visitors who mistakenly come to your site instead of the merchants. That means they’re looking to buy immediately, so you may as well provide them with an order link.

  • Chris Dunavent

Kinda grinning as i see the peeps commenting on this post. I actually learned about screw9to5 from listening to Nick’s podcast a few days ago.

    • Ah I love that! Nick’s one hell of a cool dude…met up with him and his wife in Thailand. Very nice couple 🙂

  • Daniel Rose

Awesome stuff guys, Hey Josh can I ask what the name is the sticky widget you use is?
